After a recent change of ownership and name ( formerly Shohid's Kitchen) I was tempted to try Khan's Kitchen for the first time.
I enjoyed my meal and would encourage others to give it a try.
The young lady who handled my phone order was extremely pleasant, thorough and efficient.
25 mins for collection she said - and it was ready for me to collect right on time.
I had....
Keema Balti (£7 25) - which is minced lamb.
Aloo Gobi side dish (£3.50) - potatoes and cauliflower
Chana Pilau Rice (£3.50) - chick peas fried rice
Prices seemed competitive.
My only criticism was that the Balti could have been improved with a "tighter" sauce, as it's consistency was a little "thin" for my preference and also for the lamb to be minced into larger, courser pieces.
Otherwise, very enjoyable and nicely cooked.
A pleasing experience overall.
This is the second time we have ordered food from Khan’s Kitchen. We haven’t been in this area for long, the first time I went in and waited for my food and the lady said if we rang and ordered then it would be quicker, not that that bothered me because you can tell it’s all cooked freshly for you. This time we ordered and had it delivered. The food, once again, was delicious. No way would we order from anywhere else, now we know how good and fresh this delicious food is. And the staff are so friendly. 10/10 for this fantastic establishment.
I’ve been going to this Indian for 20years under 3 different owners. I bought two meals tonight. Fantastic.
best ever tasty meals tonight.
Highly recommend trying. Yum 😋
